Kirkhill Primary School is a busy, happy environment where it actively encourages home/school/community links. The School caters for children from the Kirkhill, Inchmore, Lentran, Drumchardine, Cabrich, Knockbain, Bunchrew, Clunes and Newtonhill areas. The school was opened in 1996 and it is fortunate to have excellent facilities, equipment and accommodation. The school has seven classrooms with generous resource and storage areas. It has a purpose-built nursery department. Its large hall is equipped for a variety of PE activities and has staging facilities. In addition there is a general purpose/music room suitable for community meetings. The school is set in pleasant surroundings in the heart of the community. It provides a wide range of extra-curricular activities including: football, netball, cross-country and swimming. The school provides a variety of opportunities to enhance the learning of pupils. The school aims to create a positive atmosphere where there is shared commitment to value diversity and respect difference.
